Ft. Desota beach was named the Number 1 beach in America in 2005 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, also known as “Dr. Beach.” The beach has the finest soft white sand and lots of areas to swim. This beach offers many recreational activities for residents or vacations, such as kayaking, boating, camping, walking trails, and fishing. They also have a dog park to take your 4 legged best friend for some play time! All of these things make this a great place to take the whole family for a summer picnic!
