St. Petersburg Pier

The St.Petersburg Pier is located in downtown St. Petersburg and was created in 1899 but was then torn down in 1973 to remodel the new inverted pyramid structure we see today. The pier offers has two parking lots with a fee of $3.00 (2007 prices) daily except on special events when it is $5.00 daily. You can walk along the sidewalks viewing the beautiful waterfront or take advantage of the bright red trolleys.

The pier has 5 levels, on the first level you will be able to browse the nice specialty stores, boutiques and galleries and then stop by the and grab something to eat at Dockside Eatery food court and Captain Al’s Waterfront Grill & Bar. The Pier Aquarium is located on the second level. The third level is currently vacant. The fourth level is the famous Columbia Restaurant. The fifth level is Cha Cha Coconuts Tropical Bar & Grill and the Observation Deck.

The pier also offers outside recreation such as fishing, bikes, dolphin Queen site seeing boat or Treasure Seeker pirate ship adventure which has pirate music and interactive activities for the whole family.
