Everglades Day Safari – Fort Lauderdale
As seen in one of the many beach shops along Ft. Lauderdale Beach. These are embroidered beach towels with different beach themed images such as palm trees, sea shells, and dolphins. Prices and sizes vary for these towels. Makes for a great Ft. Lauderdale souvenir, and something you can use while you are on vacation there.

The Bahia Mar Beach Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale Florida is right within a short walk to the beauty of Ft. Lauderdale Beach. You walk over the A1A road, as seen in the picture here, and you are at the beach. Is this the best hotel in Ft. Lauderdale? Could be as it is so close to the beach, so even from the hotel room you can watch the sunrise in the morning.

This is the famous road leading to the center of Ft. Lauderdale Beach in Florida. About one mile from the end of Las Olas (beach end) are the famous Las Olas Shops. These shops are set up like an outside mall and contains a wide assortment of shops like Gourmet Farmers Market, Indigo Palms by Tommy Bahama, Blue Island Stores, and more. This is a fishing pier in the city of Pompano Beach.
As of 2010 it is FREE to fish on the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier!
There is paid parking available.

This is mostly used by people who want to fish. There is a small beach area which you can access for free. About 10 miles North of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Located on the East Coast of Florida. This is located at the very end of Commercial Blvd. – Lauderdale by the Sea. There are a few restaurants close by this area, as well as souvenir shops. The 2009 cost sightseeing price is $2, $7 if you want to fish from the pier. Most people sit in the gazebo to watch the sunrise at the pier. Located on the East Coast of Florida, about 50 miles North of Miami area.
The restaurants close by Anglin’s Fishing Pier are: Aruba’s, 101 Ocean’ Athena by the Sea, and The Village Grille.
This is a city North of Ft. Lauderdale. A smaller and quieter version of Ft. Lauderdale. This has beach access, the Anglins Fishing Pier and lots of restaurants. These are photos taken from the A1A road heading towards Ft. Lauderdale. This is different from Ft. Lauderdale in the way the condos are set up.
