Ah, not too many Wrong Ways in Key West. Not sure where in Key West we took this photo… most likely on a rare one way street. We know, it is not very ‘Key West’ to have anything labeled as ‘wrong’. That just may be the appeal of the Keys – Everything is RIGHT, or at least in a more Free Spirited form. In just one visit you can tell why people keep coming back here. The ones that do not return, tend to be extremely conservative.
Located one road over from Duval Street. Our photos are of the outside of the building, and the white sign.

Located on Duval Street, and Caroline St. Plenty of people watching seating! The restaurant also has a bar! The food was really good, but the night lighting was a bit dark. Like most people, time was spent People Watching and not Food Watching. Address: 227 Duval St, Key West, FL 33040
Says Bakery, but do not recall seeing baked goods.
Seafood ordered at Fogerty’s Restaurant
Your View of The Bull and Whistle (and Garden of Eden stairs)
Caroline Street Sign:
A very popular sign in Key West – The Mile Marker 0 Sign.
The less popular is the Mile Marker 0 Start sign. Below are photos of both. One interesting thing to note is that it marks the end and beginning of Rt 1, but the road continues a little further under a different name. The signs are at an intersection in Key West.

These are the classic signs you see marking roads in Key West. You can buy some of the street signs in souvenir shops – the most popular being Duval Street.

Key West is mostly a walking city because everything is just about within walking distance. If you bring a car to Key West you will quickly find that parking can be quite expensive (if you can find a place to park). Most hotels have bike rentals, or give you use of a bicycle during your stay. A bike is useful if you want to get somewhere quickly, or want to explore many of the side roads off of Duval Street. On your visit you will see many, many bicycles roaming …
There are a few places you can get a massage, for yourself, or as a couple, in Key West. The Prana Spa is one of the more popular choices.
The address is: 625 Whitehead St, Key West, FL 33040
One road over from Duval Street, right about halfway down Duval.
We took photos of the outside and inside of the Prana Spa, but were unable to book an appointment because the available times were already booked. It is recommended you call or visit the spa early in your vacation to ensure an appointment.
Located right across the street from the old Sloppy Joe’s Bar. Home of the Square Taco. The food was good, and the people watching view was even better. See our photos of the food, and the views below.
A view of Duval (Sloppy Joe’s) seen from the front seating at Amigos.
Above, another view from Amigos.
The square taco shells were unique, and homemade. Great location for a quick meal as you are wandering Duval Street. May be a bit stuffy at the inside seats, so choose a seat with an outside view.
Our review is of the room, the grounds, and the amenities.
Stayed in August, on a ground level room, close to the pool and outdoor hottub.
24-7 Starbucks machine for free coffee. Included tea and water.
Walking distance to Duval Street. Willy-Ts just around the corner.
The pool – good size, and most visitors were out exploring Key West (and not in the pool).
The hot tub – nearly too hot to use in August, but, a great hot tub anyways.
The wine and cheese, and crackers daily around 5pm.
The breakfast was ok, a continental breakfast …
