This is the Beautyberry plant. Photo was taken at the Black Island Trail in Ft. Myers Florida.
Scientific name: Callicarpa american. This plant can also be seen all over Florida and other Southern states such as Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, and Virginia.
